Terms, Conditions & Liability Notice

Please read carefully before participating in any training session

1. Acceptance of Terms

By attending or participating in any session with Lancashire Dog Training, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be

bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Nature of Training

Dog training involves interaction with animals which may behave unpredictably.

While all reasonable care is taken, Lancashire Dog Training cannot eliminate all risks associated with training activities.

3. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and accept that participation in training carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Dog bites

• Scratches

• Falls or trips

• Injury caused by dogs, equipment or surroundings

You voluntarily accept these risks and participate entirely at your own risk.

4. Responsibility for Your Dog

You confirm that:

• You are the legal owner or authorised handler of the dog

• You are solely responsible for your dog’s behaviour at all times

• You have disclosed any known behavioural issues, including aggression, reactivity or previous biting incidents

Failure to disclose relevant information may result in immediate termination of training without refund.

5. Responsibility for Your Own Safety

• You are responsible for your own actions and safety at all times

• You agree to follow all instructions given by the trainer

• You must remain in control of your dog at all times

• Children must be supervised at all times

6. Health & Fitness

You confirm that:

• Your dog is in good health and fit to participate

• Your dog is not suffering from any condition that may affect training

• You are physically capable of safely handling your dog

7. Training Outcomes

• No guarantees are given regarding behavioural or training outcomes

• Progress is dependent on the handler’s consistency and effort outside of sessions

8. Equipment

• Only equipment approved by the trainer may be used

• Lancashire Dog Training reserves the right to refuse the use of any equipment deemed unsafe or unsuitable

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to the above:

• Lancashire Dog Training shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage or expense arising from the actions of any dog

• Lancashire Dog Training shall not be liable for injury to any person attending training

• Lancashire Dog Training shall not be liable for loss or damage to property or third parties

10. IndemnityYou agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lancashire Dog Training against any claims, losses or damages arising from:

• Your dog’s behaviour

• Your actions during training

• Any third party claims connected to your participation

11. Cancellations & Fees

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a session

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session will incur a 50% charge of the session fee

• Failure to attend a session without notice may result in the full session fee being charged

12. Right to Refuse Service

Lancashire Dog Training reserves the right to:

• Refuse or terminate training where safety is a concern

• End sessions where instructions are not followed

• Refuse service in cases of inappropriate or unsafe behaviour

13. Media

Photographs or videos may be taken for training or promotional purposes unless you request otherwise.

14. Agreement

By proceeding with training, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
