Personalised Dog Training That Works With You

At Lancashire Dog Training, we recognise that cost is an important factor when considering dog training. That’s why we work alongside you, equipping you with the knowledge and techniques needed to continue training confidently between sessions. This shared approach helps your dog progress consistently while keeping training practical and effective.

We believe in a straightforward, honest service:
• No payment is required upfront
• No obligation to commit to a fixed number of sessions
• Sessions can be arranged as and when you need them, depending on your goals and our availability

By working together, we create a training experience that supports both you and your dog, building skills, confidence and a stronger relationship every step of the way.

The Initial Assessment

The Initial Assessment is a compulsory first step for all new dogs and their owners. This in-depth session allows Steve to gain a clear understanding of your dog's background, behaviour, temperament and any training challenges you may be facing. It is also an opportunity to discuss your goals and expectations moving forward.

Over the course of 90 minutes, you'll receive:

A 60-minute assessment

This includes a detailed discussion about your dog's history, behaviour at home and in public, previous training (if any), and any specific concerns you would like to address. Steve will also observe your dog's responses and interactions to identify the root causes of any behavioural or training issues.

A 30-minute starter lesson

Following the assessment, you'll receive a practical, hands on training session tailored to your dog's individual needs and your priorities. This provides you with clear, actionable steps to begin implementing straight away and creates a solid foundation for future 1-to-1 training sessions.

Complimentary Nutrition & Weight Consultation

As part of your Initial Assessment, you'll also receive a consultation with Kelly at Lancashire Dog Treats. This includes a full weight check, body condition assessment, feeding review and general nutrition guidance. We will discuss your dog's current diet, feeding routine and overall condition to help ensure they are receiving the nutritional support they need alongside their training programme.

By combining training and nutrition, we can provide a more complete approach to your dog's wellbeing, helping them feel and perform at their best both physically and mentally.

Initial Assessment (90 minutes): £120
